FEELINGS

Annie was on her way back to Sunset Beach after a relaxing weekend in Palm Springs, when the car broke down.
Annie: Great, why does this happen to me!
After a while a car finally showed up, it was Jude.
Annie: You!
Jude: Yes me, but I can leave if you don´t want my help.
Annie: No, no. What are you doing here any way?
Jude: I have been away on business. And you?
Annie: I just wanted to get away from Sunset Beach and…
Jude: And what?
Annie: It was nothing…Can you just drive me home now.
Jude: Sure, if that’s what you want.
Annie: Yes, I don´t want to stand here the whole day.
They took place in Judes car and started to drive back to Sunset Beach. They hadn´t come far when the car started jumping and then it stopped.
Annie: What the hell was that?
Jude: I don´t know.
Jude went out to check what it was and saw that it was a flat tyre.
Jude: Annie, it´s a flat tyre.
Annie: You do have a extra tyre, don´t you.
Jude: Sorry, I don´t. Do you have your mobile phone with you?
Annie: No I didn´t want to be disturbed. I guess you don´t have your with you either.
Jude: You guessed right.
Annie: What should we do now?
Jude: Wait for a car to drive by.
Annie: That can take ages, it´s pretty late.
Jude: Do you have another suggestion?
Annie: No
Annie was sitting in the car. She didn´t think it so fun to be stuck in the middle of nowhere with Jude. She had left Sunset Beach so she didn´t have to run into him all the time. When he was around she couldn´t concentrate at all and she was going crazy. She didn´t want him to know that she had feelings for him. If he didn´t know he couldn´t hurt her.
Jude got in to the car next to Annie. Jude didn´t think it was so fun being stuck here with Annie. He had thought it had been nice to be away on business, so he didn´t have to run in to her all the time. She was so distracting going around in those short skirts, had she any idea what she was doing to him. But it was more than that he had never had this kind of feelings for anyone.
Annie: What should we do now? It haven´t passed by a car for ages.
Jude: Maybe we should get some sleep.
Annie: The car isn´t so comfortable.
Jude: No, but I saw a abandoned house down the road where I picked you up.
Annie: I guess it´s the best we have for the moment. Let´s go.
Jude: OK
They started walking, but after a while it started raining.
Annie: Ugh, I hate rain.
They started running towards the house, but when they came there they were already soaking wet. Annie was only wearing a thin dress and it soaked immediately. Jude was wearing a dark blue suit with a blue shirt under and he didn´t get as wet as Annie. When they got into the house Jude started laughing.
Annie: What?
Jude: You should see how you look!
Annie: I know I´m soaking wet.
Jude took off his wet jacket and started button up his shirt.
Jude: You can take my shirt it did´t get wet at all.
Annie almost lost her breath when Jude took off his shirt. She just stood and didn´t say a thing. She didn´t even notice that she had started shivering with cold. Did he have any idea what he was doing to her.
Jude: Come on you´re shivering.
Annie: OK, but turn around.
Jude: OK, I will.
Annie changed fast from the wet dress to Judes shirt. Jude found an old blanket that he laid out on the floor.
Jude: It´s the best thing I could find.
Annie: It´s OK.
They laid down on the blanket, but they couldn´t sleep it was to cold and Annie was still shivering.
Jude: God, it´s cold without the shirt.
Annie: You can get it back if you want to.
Jude: I didn´t mean it like that. You´re still shivering let me warm you.
Jude started rubbing his hands up and down Annies arms so she would get warm. Annie loved the touch of his hands she felt safe being so close to him. She didn´t notice that she came closer and closer to him. Now they just sat there and held each other. Jude started to let go to say something, but Annie sill held on to Jude.
Jude: Annie, are you still cold.
Annie: No
Jude: Good, I want to ask you something.
Annie: OK, what?
Jude: What was it in Sunset Beach you wanted to get away from?
Annie looked away she couldn´t tell him.
Annie: It was nothing.
Jude: Why are you shutting me out? I want to get to know you, but I can´t if you don´t tell me anything.
Annie: You do?
Jude: Yes, I do
They just sat there for a while and didn´t say a thing.
Jude: Annie, do you want to get to know me?
Annie: Yes.
Jude: OK, if you tell me something about you I tell you something about me.
Annie: OK
Jude: Who starts?
Annie: You, it was your idea.
Jude was quiet for a while.
Jude: Annie, ever since I met you I haven´t been able to get you out of my head. I really like you and I want us to be more then friends.
Annie couldn´t believe it Jude liked her. It had been quiet for a long time and Jude was getting impatient.
Annie: I really like you too, Jude
Jude gave Annie a big smile and she smiled back at him. Annie had started shivering again and Jude took her in his arms. They started kissing and soon they were making passionate love all night. Annie woke up to a familiar voice.
Bette: Poopsie, are you in there.
Annie quickly put on her now dry dress and opened the door.
Annie: Aunt Bette, what are you doing here?
Bette: I got worried last night when you didn`t come home and I went looking for you. I saw you car and when you wasn´t there I went here to look. What are you doing in there any way?
Annie: My car broke down and we actually spent the night here.
Bette: OK, who is we
Annie didn´t have to answer that. Jude was waking up inside and was wondering where Annie was.
Jude: Annie, where are you?
Jude put on his clothes when he realized that it was someone at the door and went to see who it was.
Bette: Jude
Jude: Bette
Bette: Excuse me if I am interrupting something, but I am here to take you home. How did you end up here?
Annie: After my car broke down, Jude came by and he picked me up and then he got a flat tyre. It was late and no more cars came by.
Jude: I remembered this house down the road where I picked up Annie, so we went here to get some sleep.
They went out to Bettes car and started driving towards Sunset Beach. No one of them said so much on the way home.
At home in Sunset Beach.
Annie was still smiling. She couldn´t stop thinking about what happened between her and Jude. She had never felt this way about anyone in her whole life.
Bette: I have never seen you smile like this. What really happened?
Annie: We told you the story before.
Bette: Come on Annie, I know it wasn´t the whole story.
Annie: We really got know each other.
Bette: Can you be a little more specific.
Annie: I guess you don´t going to leave me alone until I tell you everything.
Bette: You got that right.
Annie: Ok, before we got to the house it started raining and my dress got soaked. I was shivering with cold and Jude offered me his shirt.
Bette: Hot!
Annie: Then Jude found a mattress. We tried to get some sleep, but it was to cold so we started talking and then…
Bette: Then what?
Annie: We started kissing and then we…we made love.
Bette: Very hot. You really like him, don´t you. You haven´t stopped smiling since we got home.
Annie: To be honest, I have never felt this way about anyone before.
Bette: Oh my god, you´re in love with him.
Annie: I think I am. It´s definitely something new for me.
Bette: I´m so happy for you.
A few weeks later…
Everybody in Sunset Beach thought Annie had changed, she was like a new person because of Jude. Annie and Jude had almost spent every minute together. They didn´t seem to keep their hands from each other and they had never been happier.
At Judes place.
Jude: Annie, there is something I want to tell you.
Annie: Ok
Jude: The latest days have been amazing, to spent every minute with you. I have never felt like this about anyone before.
Annie: I have never felt like this about anyone before either.
Jude: I want to show you how much you mean to me and the best way to do that is to ask you to spend the rest of your life with me.
Annie almost lost her breath when she realised what he was going to ask. Jude went down on one knee and took out a beautiful diamond ring.
Jude: Annie Douglas, will you marry me?
Annie: Oh yes, yes.
Jude: Let me make it official.
When Jude put on the ring on Annies finger she started crying.
Jude: It fit perfect… I love you so much, Annie Douglas.
Annie: I love you too, Jude Cavanaugh.
